I noticed foF2 was almost 9 MHz !!! So I decided to check 22m, and found GNK with a very nice signal.
-
1530z Decent copy on GNK 13564, solid ID.
-
some of are totally-convinced that this GNK guy is vastly QRO over pt. 15 rules and the field-strength! sri
-
Interesting, but they can't all be over power. GNK comes in fairly regularly - as it did for a while on the 4th Nov. But also signals from CT and NC, with similar or greater strength!
I could only wish for such reach for PVC!

GNK coming in again, with a weak signal at 2032 UTC on 12 Nov 2018.

GNK again noted with a weak signal, fading in and out around 1720 UTC 13 Nov 2018.

A very good signal at 1629z 15 Nov 2018, using my KiwiSDR and 670 ft sky loop antenna:

GNK is *the* band marker!

GNK at an unexpected time early this morning, 1054 UTC 8 Jan 2019. I was able to do a few antenna comparisons, and found it came in almost as well on the small 50 ft LoG (Loop on Ground) antenna as the 20m dipole.

GNK heard, with slow fades up to S3 signal strength, on 13563.97 kHz, 1854Z 24JAN2019.
RX: KiwiSDR on 80M OCF in Midland, VA.

1818 UTC 1 Feb 2019 Very strong signal from GNK
-
Mighty GNK fading in at 1451 UTC 4 Feb 2019

Hearing GNK at 1406 8 Feb 2019 with a weak signal. foF2 is 9 MHz which is rather high for this time of the solar cycle and winter. Could be a good day for 22m. The 11m band is fairly busy already.
