Title: Voice of Korea 9425/9435 am 1414 utc 26 May 2021

Very good reception, Russian and French service (long time service I've heard a Russian service). In Oakland, CA using PL 880 with its wire.  Music ID's by Shazam, service/broadcaster ID's by short-wave.info

It appears same music on both frequencies but different services, slightly off in timing with YL in respective languages between tunes.

9425 Russian service - good reception

1414 YL singing Korean song, Shazam ID-ed but with Korean characters
1420 "Magic Flight" Sycbat to YL in Russian
1425 Same Korean song as under French service
1428 "Not Too Late" Matt Stephens, piano instrumental

9435 French service - excellent reception

1420 "Magic Flight" Syncbat
1425 YL talking at length in French to Korean song
1428 "Not Too Late" Matt Stephens, piano instrumental

This time of year, their evening broadcasts to Central America often come in strong, starting at 0300 UTC on 11735 (this one's usually the weakest), 13760, & 15180. English at 0400 and I think this is usually the first "new" broadcast of the day. But you can probably get all kinds of VOK signals beaming in almost any direction at this time of year.

Also look for oddities like VC01, the Chinese Robot, early in the morning (predawn), currently at 5318 USB. If you're into that kind of thing, that is.  ;D
