Was hearing a dasher instead of L on 7998 this afternoon and this evening am hearing a dasher 4095+.  Not real strong but its there,

JUST SAW YOUR REPORT WAY DOWN THE LIST.
I CAUGHT THE 4095 DASHER IN THE CLEAR LAST NIGHT AS WELL.  I REAL NICE CW NOTE.

Am hearing H on 7998 at the moment 2055 utc.  Over the weekend it was sending H and then would pause and send a message in CW, "UFOS ARE REAL".

Have the dasher on 4095 the last couple of mornings as well.

Am using the KFS omni kiwi and hear a dasher on 7998.17

two nights ago I caught the 4095 dasher a number of times 0300utc -0400 and early in the morning around 0900 utc when I took a wiz.
so far I have only heard a dash rate of about one dash per second...

I haven't chased the desert beacons in years. It's cheap and easy to do, no fancy radios or antennas needed. If you've got a portable w/ decent SSB tuning and a wire antenna for 40 meters you're in the game. Early afternoon to dark was the best time period for me and I'm a good 2000 miles away, with nothing but rocks, mountains, and dirt to boost propagation. Some of these beacons run microwatts which isn't breaking the law.
