Post by: zackers on January 04, 2012, 1835 UTC: I've been copying it every night for at least a week now in east central Illinios. Lots of QSB on signal sometimes but still copyable. I have NOT been able to hear any of the beacons around 4080 kHz +- yet this winter.

Sure is good to hear it back on the air.

After my F.C.C. bust on my 30 mw 11mc beacon I decided to not
put out anymore pirate beacons. But I sure like to listen to them.

GF law and order all the time now...I put my guns away so to speak.

Post by: zackers on August 09, 2012, 1906 UTC: Been hearing it fairly regularly here recently between ~ 0400Z and 0700Z (which is about the latest I've been staying up). Usually S2 or S3 up to sometimes S7 or so.

Last night I heard a local pipsqueak in the Australian outback boom in, but 500KW Radio Australia itself was barely budging the needle.

Post by: Tom S on October 08, 2012, 2037 UTC: I haven't heard OK since I moved about 3 years ago (and had some radio down time until getting the shack setup in the new house). I only moved about 30 miles so I should still be able to hear it if it hasn't moved and is still active. I'll keep an ear out for it to see if I can hear it again. From this thread it looks like this beacon is intermittent.
