Nice LW conditions for Euro stations
« on: August 27, 2014, 0327 UTC »
Into the midwest.

162 - France Inter - France
171 - Medi 1 - Morocco
183 - Europe 1 - Germany
198 - BBC Radio 4 - GB
216 - Radio Monte Carlo - Monaco (transmitter located in France)

Considering the brutal static crashing, I have fairly good copies on these stations tonight.
Radios -- Perseus SDR // SDRPlay RSPdx // Icom IC-7300 // Tecsun PL-660 // Panasonic RF-5000A --Antennas-- Pixel Pro 1B loop - 82' fan-dipole at 40' - tuned MW/BCB 40" loop and 100' receive only dipole
-Brian--North of Detroit--MI-
1710/KHz the MW Pirate Clear Channel (not so much anymore "sigh")

Wow awesome job BDM!! I only have a few carriers with almost no audio, and a lot of static crashes.

Listening to France on 162KHz as I type this post. Not a great signal, but nonetheless there.

I also have Morocco on 171KHz with a faint signal, though for whatever reasons, it is a rather routine catch from my QTH.

The usual suspects coming in fair to good right now (0230z) except 171 - Medi-1, there but very weak.
