Opinions on SDR-IP?
« on: April 29, 2015, 2124 UTC »
I see an SDR-IP for sale for under $1000 on a popular auction website -- seems pretty cheap.  I've been considering the QS1R but this RfSpace unit has caught my interest.  Anyone able to compare these units?  Any first-hand experience?

Thanks

I have never used the SDR-IP locally, although I have used it via remotes.  I have used the QS1R and the NetSDR, and the NetSDR and SDR-IP performance should be very similar, with some features variation.

The QS1R is more of a tinkerers SDR.  It has great potential but needs a little tweaking to get the most out of it.  I prefer the NetSDR to the QS1R.
