morning broadcast on 43 meters

I've been catching broadcasts on 43 meters in the mornings.
Conditions usually still not that great in the evening. It's been nice to hear a broadcast
with a decent signal that doesn't rapidly fade out.

Conditions in the morning are not always good but the past few weekends have been
very good, here in Connecticut anyway.

This past weekend:
CPRRS/Radio Morania, 1315 utc 6925 am 11/22/15, S9+10,
also this station,UNID, 1403 utc 6925 am 11/21/15, S9+.

I know this isn't "prime time" but I would love to hear a few more stations
on at this time.

Yes, morning can be an excellent time for 43 meters. Once the ionosphere gets going for the day and foF2 goes above 7 MHz, conditions are  pretty good for NVIS. That happened today before 1300z:

There is also less absorption of the signals on 43 M this time of year during daylight hours. Once the MUF gets in order after sunrise, there is a nice window for a couple hours of good props. But even at solar noon, it is not too shabby this time of the year. Even more so with low solar condx I find.

I used to do a lot of weekend morning broadcasts. From experience the band starts to crap out about 14:00 utc., but it can stay open a hour or so longer in midwinter.

The mornings are great for summer broadcasts when the evening static is normally high.
