Great signal tonight into Northwest Oregon on the dipole at 0553 UTC. Signal is S9 with some fading. Not sure of the music but very mysterious sounding to me. Great job and take care RTN!
Thanks for the free radio!

Pretty weak here with lots of t-storm noise, but I have decent audio making it here. Thanks for the show, RTN! Andrew

Carrier signed on at 0406 with electronic music. Weak signal at first, then much stronger periods starting around 0417z (unless it was really another station that came on, difficult to tell. The signal strength changes were very abrupt, not what I would expect from fading). Off at 0536z.

12 July 2012 My overnight recording is very confusing. At a minimum, there were at least two things on at any given time until around 0600, one of them being the spooky noise which was very loud here at times. I was also off-tuned it seems by a country mile. At times it seemed liked there were three things on, and recreating a solid timeline of what was going on...I gave up. I'm curious about the CW around 0501. I have never had the chance to hear extended CW from RTN, and I am wondering if this was actually him. Here in Chicago the CW was much louder than both RTN and the spooky noise. Hopefully he can clarify this for me if he has the time. The copy I got has 6 CW repetitions, all of them being the word "RADIOACTIVITY", except for the 4th, which sounds like "RUNEIOACTIVITY". You can hear an RTN ID after the 1st rep. Thanks! Hi guys. Yes was a very interesting night. I was monitoring my signal via a online web rx and heard the whales station behind mine. As for the CW that was not me. Dont think I played Radioactivity. It was somebody else. Very interesting anyway and thanks for all your reports.

BTW, I checked my recording and the sig was really pretty good here. Unfortunately, I had the receiver in USB and I was mistuned by about 200 Hz or so. In all, the recording was unusable, but I could tell that the signal was at least fair here. Too bad I didn't do a little better job with the radio! :O)
