ION Radio:
Odd frequency. I believe I have it correct.
Strong phone check ins then some digital traffic.

It's these guys that keep me under 6965.

Also heard here with strong signal on 6972.8 USB closing down the net at 2249 UTC. ID'd as District 1 Regional Net. I've also recently heard the MARS net on 6897.5 USB.

You are correct, US Coast Guard Auxiliary Contingency Net operates on this frequency.

You will also have to contend with the Canadian Forces Affiliated Radio System (CFARS) on 6961, 6977 and 6981. I also believe you will find an Air Force (AFA) net on 6986.5.
