According to Michigan ARE Tipsheet July 7, ed. Harold Frodge, The BBC relay station in Singapore is shutting down on 7/23. AWR Wavescan says it shuts down on 7/16. It is unclear which is correct.

Update: An on air announcement on July 12 says they are closing today.

I'd go with Harold. He was one of Bram Stoker's favorite acknowledged "QSL whores" which is practically the "DX Seal of Approval". Harold knows his stuff.

BoomboxDX:
Hate to see it go, as I've heard the BBC broadcasts from Kranji quite a few times over the years, but land in Singapore is expensive. And there's nowhere to expand. So, it's only natural that a large plot of land being used for SW broadcasts is in the way of development.
