heard crystal clear thru a KwiSDR in Crowley , Tx and came in decent in Wyoming on my Tecsun Pl-330 with stock antenna.

Shortwave_Listener:
Not a pirate, just idiot hams.

Wyo_Joe:
Define a pirate then please, if it isn't broadcasting something commercial that you don't have the rights too. There can't be political pirates? it is Stupor Tuesday after all.

Really tho, define a pirate please. I'm obviously brand new to this.

Blackswan:
Any unauthorized broadcast intended for the general public is a pirate

Shortwave_Listener:
7200 LSB is a well known dumbass frequency where hams QRM each other and argue. Technically just as illegal as 69XX kHz pirates, but not considered the same by listeners. Really, why would we want to be associated with them? Pirates as discussed in North American Shortwave Pirate generally do not operate on ham bands (maybe with the occasional exception).

But it's not for the general public, just for the other hams trying to use 7200.
