Sternradio 6970.6 was 6966.6 AM 0058 UTC 03 May 2025
Andrew Yoder:
Excellent signal with some phasing. Tuned in at 0347. Between the music & signal/audio, I knew it must be Sternradio before I heard an ID or checked HFU.
Traveling Wave:
0416 UTC - Signal is S9+ in WNY, audio is excellent.
Charlie_Dont_Surf:
Fair signal out here on the left coast. SINPO 24232. I have them at 6970.666, of course.
0436 - ID and internet addresses with computerized male voice.
0441 - TX off after classical music piece.

Ein elektrisches Trauerspiel, ganz ohne Gnade – jetzt sitz’ ich im Dunkeln, mit Röhrchenparade. :'(

Jetzt, dein Sender ist kaputt? Ist er eingeschlafen oder auch kaputt?
jmhanna:
holding S-7 near Chicago on 6970.6, love the program material. thanks for the show!
John Poet:
0438... announced "the end of our broadcast day", into a tune I didn't recognize,
and later quoting Winston Churchill "we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight in the hills", etc
(not the original Churchill audio) and then off about 0442 UTC.
Was a big signal on the HFU Maryland SDR, I have been listening at times, but switching between stations.
Thanks for the show!
