Outhouse Radio 6932-6933U

(1/1)

Zoidberg:
8/12/10
6932.8 USB w/ some drifting
Caught an Outhouse Radio ID around 0110z.  Sorta dirtfed signal (my favorite Evil Elvisism), drifty, warbly.  Able to copy "Take This Job and Shove It" and "Inna-Gadda-blah-blah-blah" around 0105z.
0115z: Outhouse Radio ID
0120z: Sammy Hagar "Heavy Metal", audio a bit thin.  Outhouse op talking, can't quite make out what he was saying.
0123z: Doors "LA Wimmins"
0128z: 6934U, approx, Johnny Cash "Folsom Prison Blues"
0145z: 6934.2U, Outhouse Radio ID, Hendrix "All Along the Watchtower", sudden shift to 6932.7U mid-song.

Good signal peaks here since 0040z, just kinda tough to tune in until top of hour.

LOL!  Received a very appropriate "Wherever I May Roam" eQSL from Outhouse.  Thanks for the game of Marco Polo!

textim:
Same tunes as reported by Lex.  Sounds like Outhouse has fired up the Warrior of the Wasteland again tonight.  Signal is a but warbly, but strong.

0134z Seems to have drifted up to about 6935 where the signal is getting blasted by QRM from a ute.
0138  Back down to 6932.6 or so, sounds like a Billy Preston song.
0144  All Along the Watchtower - Hendrix  6934.2 now.

Drifting on a sea of shortwaves again tonight, Outhouse?

Thanks for the tunes again.  And thanks for the QSLs too!
