Radio True North 6305 AM

(1/1)

Zoidberg:
9/19/11, 6305 AM (moved from 6925 at 0220z after another AM station came in over RTN), 0324z: Just a carrier here at home, good via Global Tuners remote in Oregon.  Moby "We Are All Made of Stars", Radio True North ID (sounded live on mic), e-mail address and noted logs to HFU, Free Radio Cafe and FRN.  Sounds like Robert Plant "Rockin at Midnight", Blondie "Fart of Gas".
SINPO=44233, good signal peaks, heavy QRN and some rapid fluttering fades.

sat_dxer:
Nothing heard on UT 20 Sept, is this RTN's new frequency from here on?

RadioTrueNorth:
I must say conditions up north have not been great.  No this is not my new frequency, but an alternate.  That night I heard that 6925 had turned to a mess, so I moved to 6305.  It seems to be mostly quiet.  Besides it is a favorite haunt of euro pirate radio ops.  I figure no harm done and it makes people look in areas they might not think of otherwise.  Thanks for the reports.
