Yes its quite dirty... Splashes peoples phones,etc but its an awesome mode!!

I always wondered why people who had FM on thier CB in the 80s didnt use it more,THEY WOULD NOT HAVE BOTHERED PEOPLE LIKE THEY DID!! (Thier carrier was still 10k but the modj was not the same)

AM watering hole on 21.430 was good till a couple years ago. I've talked there a lot up into all four corners of the country in the past on just 25W carrier and a random wire.


Even with current band conditions, I can get into Nevada and California almost daily on 20m AM 25W in the late morning and in the summer sometimes up til past midnight on occasions.

Ya its fun isnt it???

I have talked pretty much round the globe!! (And its amazing how low of wattage you need when condtions are right)
