WPOD 6925 USB

(1/1)

Zoidberg:
1/1/12, 6925 USB, 0050z: WPOD IDs and "White punks on dope" slogan clear but other audio bits and music buried under heavy local RFI.
0116z: Still hanging in there right at local noise level, not quite strong enough to ID any music or audio bits so far.  Sounds like an ad for Job rolling papers.
0118z: WPOD female computer voice ID.

Markokpik:
WPOD, 6925U, 0051+, 1.1.12.  Short off and on with music, ID, "what I did on my summer vacation" skit, more music, some other comedy, 0103 ID, "Tak'in Care of Business"

Fair with lots of noise.

"Take this job and shove it", series of IDs, 0121 off.

Thanks for the show.

jFarley:
0113 Huey Lewis & the News - "Working For a Living"
0117 JOB commx, "Take This Job and Shove It"

Nice at S7, but mod QRM and QRN
Thanks, WPOD, and HNY!

Sealord:
6925 USB SIO 333

Good signal with slight fade.  Also heard here with same details as others logged.

Audio(complete show): http://www.archive.org/download/ShortwavePirateRadioCont/Wpod6925Usb0051z-0121z01-01-12.mp3

Thanks WPOD :)
