LDL cholesterol levels and heart disease

We're seeing more and more studies that fail to find a relationship between LDL cholesterol levels and heart disease. Most likely because there really isn't one.

Serum triglyceride levels, on the other hand, are a valid concern with respect to heart disease. Dietary carbohydrates are turned into triglycerides by your liver.
