Title: XEPPM Radio Educación 6185 AM 1020 UTC 19 MAR 2024
Post by: Ct Yankee on March 19, 2024, 1022 UTC
Very good reception with minor fades.  Originally thought this was Voice of Korea as ID-ed by websites.  Now think it is XEPPM based on music selections.  XEPPM was due to be off at 1000 utc but with recent time change maybe on until 1100 utc as they do not shift off standard time in Mexico City.

1020 Unid (classical?) instrumental tune
1025 Unid jazz instrumental
1031 OM talking but noisy, to another instrument piano tune
1044 "Nieve de Jazz" Guerrero Jazz, music playing but getting noisier as we approach local sunrise in 10 minutes
1056 "La San Marqueña " Guerrero Jazz

Here on the California coast, I was listening to 6185 kHz., at 0946 UT, on March 16. Mexico airing a nice jazz program,
which was considerably stronger than CHBC (China) underneath in Chinese and also playing music; *1000 UT, strong
start of Korea (VOK) with IS and English IDs; NA and into their English programming; distorted audio; VOK killed any
chance of Mexico/China reception!
