2335 UTC: S3 signal but quite a bit of noise. Redhat and Radio Illuminati talking about sending out QSLs. Pretty interesting listening to 5185 on one receiver and 4185 on another. 4185 is about 3 seconds ahead of 5185. Hey, Dickweed is now on.

S5 here with some qrn

Sounding good here on 4185.
0058 Still coming in very well, with S9 carrier and +/-13kHz sidebands. Great show!

0029 UTC I'm getting solid audio now here but the noise level is high, with light fading. Redhat chatting over the background music. Talking now about the voice processing. 5150 AM and 6865 USB are coming in much better!
0035 UTC Signal getting better here....some S8 peaks! Both redhat and Azimuth Coordinator chatting about AM band radio the way it used to be. Azimuth Coordinator talking about using 6150 AM in the early days and having somebody log and post the show! (That was Chris Smolinski and myself, who some time later were amazed to receive a QSL! We weren't even sure what the station ID was!)
0042 UTC A song I can't ID.....oh well, back to 5185 AM!
-
00:34 UTC - Weak readable with some fading. Also listening via the MRI relay on 6865.0 kHz.

0109z Strong signal to the Sony ICF 2010 portable on the whip in the back yard. Op reading through HFU logs. My indoor loop is deaf on this freq, but the portable picking it up fine. Heavy local RFI but signal punching through. Best in sideband, as the Sony AGC is more touchy in AM.
0138z op reading logs, shout-outs to listeners. Doobie Bros
Listenable in AM sync on the Sony ICF 2010 portable after local RFI quieted a bit.
