Does anyone own one of these? How are they?
My second vintage (ah, affordable) receiver is getting ready
to kick the bucket. I learned my lesson when my first
"older" receiver broke down and I had it repaired only to have
something else break down 6 months later. It's time to bite the
bullet and buy a brand new receiver. I like what I've read about the R-75.
Would love some feedback. Thanks.

I feel that it is as good a receiver as you can get for the Price. (abt $600 new) I have used mine for about 7 yrs.

Not a bad receiver. But just my opinion here, you can get into a good SDR for that money now, especially a good used one. Just something to consider ;)

I have one. I love it.
First receiver I've owned that was better than 'entry level'.
But, it's no SDR.

I've known a lot of people who've owned them. They all love them. For the price they can't be beat.

flexoman, I don't own one but I'm a member of https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/icomr75/info (https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/icomr75/info)
good info there, also considering one in the next year or so, unless i can find a decent NRD from a trusted source.
