This post is a little late -sorry ::)
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Beacon Dasher 7997.9 Khz captured about 1+ minute of audio starting around
1250 UTC.

Weak signal with characteristic fade ups. This is in the same general
frequency range as reported for the “walkers”. I got distracted and
went listening on the newly reported beacon (perhaps being reported again?)
on 8349.7 After returning to 7997.9 kHz about 1455UTC no discernible signal
was heard.
I heard this dasher earlier in the month a couple of times but thought it was
merely another in that group of reports concerning the “walker” beacons as
tagged. Will listen and report more often on any dasher signal on this frequency.
Note: The frequency was absolutely clear of any other signals during all the time
I listened and recorded audio on 7997.9 Khz .
Could this be the same as reported by mark-n-nut (as copied here);

Have a dasher this evening on 7998.0 at 0030 utc
And..
Some regular morse code? on about 7998.210. Though I have not been able to make heads or toes of it yet?

One apparent report discrepancy however is that I estimated about 33 dashes per minute.
Anybody else with info??
Peace!

It was really doing well last night. I'm north of you by about 400 miles +/- ... was a good night for DXing.
