F U Beacon, 6/18/11, 6815usb, SIO 434, 1:44+ UTC, very good signal here tonight.
Sending F U in cw.
-
Also doing nicely in NH, about S5 - just about equal with the static.
-
evening all.
The FU beacon on 6815 is coming in real nice tonight.
It's well above the noise.
Something was said about this beacon on the udxf.
Costas in Greece said he thought it was over in Greece
if so the prop is great tonight.

It's 1344z here in the Atlanta area and I have it. S7 to S8 noise floor and this is just a bit above it but clearly audible. Fades every once in a while for a half minute or so, but running solid several minutes at a time.
Frequency is 6815.88 kHz.
-
Fading in and out here at 1419z.
-
I'm also receiving an occasional single "dot" on 6816 kHz. At one point there were several that were a bit less than ten seconds apart. Now just seeing an occasional sporadic one.
FU is still there and seems to be within a few Hz of where it was earlier. Very weak with more fading at this point.

6/18/11, 6915usb, 20:00 UTC, I can now hear Beacon FU once again - rising just slightly above the noise level.
-
Loud all day here in the mid atlantic coast..... s5-29

Any guesses on location anybody? Seems like it must be on the east coast somewhere. Probably in the US. Seems pretty solid during bad propagation conditions. So I'd guess a decent antenna and a few watts. Frequency is pretty stable so I'd tend to think it's not one of the "quick & easy" PiFER beacons.
-
weak but clear here my first beacon
cheers, Terry

Heard it at about 0510Z here in Seattle, WA, gone at 0519Z. Strong even over a lot of noise. Also my first DX beacon.

6815 USB SIO 322

I'm actually thinking that it's in the western states, along with all those other pirate beacons. Typically quiet up here in New York except at night, and it's louder in the west at night.

FU Beacon, 6/21/11, 6815usb, 2:30+ UTC, SIO 323, solid signal in the static noise.
-
Great day for conditions, but a buzzsaw on 6817 splattered all over the freqency all day until late evening, that's when conditions died *shrug*
Peace!

Finally snagged the FU beacon on 6815 here in Gopher Stomp. Had to take the portable outdoors away from household RFI. Barely audible even through fairly low noise, lots of fading, but enough to copy signal. Nary a peep via indoor antennas. Had tried several times over past week on Global Tuners remotes scattered around N. America and was either inaudible or just barely audible through heavy QRN.
