He's back, whistling and chanting. SIO 444, perhaps 544.

Diego Brownyard on an oil rig off of Tampico?

Hola hola hola hola hoooollllaaaaaaa???

This was the presumed Native American pesky, we first started hearing a month or three ago.

Ahh, yes, and 6990 kHz seems to be his "home channel". Not sure if this is another chanting net (like the guys heard on 7000 kHz and other nearby freqs) or somebody messing around.

If he's pranking us, it's a pretty elaborate long con.

Play "Chattanooga Shoeshine Boy"!
Heck, it's too wet to mow. Might as well play some toe-tappers live from North East, Mexico.

In what language is he chanting? Just curious.
Here on the West Coast, we'd hear Indonesian chanting around 6999 khz between 1200-1400 UTC many mornings.
Haven't heard that lately, though.

I've definitely heard some chanter, perhaps not this chanter, but a chanter, use Japanese words and numbers. That being said, just because I, or anyone else, say weabu, konichiwa, ichi, baka, or arigato, doesn't prove I or they are Japanese.

The language he chanting is Indonesian, haven't been able to hear them lately

Thanks for the replies. I sort of miss hearing the Indonesians (Kalimantan 'village radio' chanters); haven't heard them since 2014 or so.
