It never ceases to amaze me how these wackjobs in the media can sneak global warming into everything.  It must be the new religion of our time.

I agree with you on the global warming thing...  IMHO... they don't know all of the variables so the computer models are nothing but trash.  As the saying goes, "garbage in garbage out", that makes the output meaningless...

I'll add my opinion to the mix... no, instead I think I'll quote another (in)famous individual on this sort of activity:

“If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.”

p.s.  The author of the quote was quite an expert on such matters.
