:-X Guess I came to the picture show late. Band seems noise from s9 static crashes.
I see I missed my friend Zeke. Skipper has given out a good program log though.
BTW Skipper , the Yetti cubs were picked up by the forest service and brought up your way, so you watch.
::)

Back about 5 years ago, I was chatting with a neighbor when she let out a "Whats That"! It had come around from the back of my shed and I quickly recognized it as a Fisher Cat. It had a feral look in it's eyes and despite the reports of it's alleged ferocity, I picked up a garden rake and walked towards it. It gave me an ugly look but quickly bounded away at a good clip with it's looping gait. I live on the edge of a good size tract of conservation land and and all manner of varmints have visited the backyard. I'm not sure of the effect a garden rake would have on a Yetti cub! Maybe I should just stay in the radio room and avoid such encounters! ;D

We've got a lot of garbage bears here. A few weeks ago one snatched up an old lady's toy poodle. She went after it with a yard rake. The lady got a minor mauling, the dog got away. On the news the next day they were talking to her son about her condition while his wife patrolled the perimeter with a SKS. The dog was running around like nothing ever happened. Grandma had to spend a couple of extra days in the hospital getting I.V. antibiotics.
I think she could have taken it with a mattock.
