The Federal Communications Commission has levied its largest fine ever, targeting a Florida-based robocall network it says was responsible for nearly 100 million calls over the last three months of 2016.

They've been blasting in here from 8 in the morning until 8 in the evening over the healthcare bill over the past week. After the election was over I was hoping it was done for two years?
They banned companies from using them nearly 30 years ago. They ought to ban political groups from doing the same.

Sadly enough, I received at least a dozen robocalls from these jerks over the last 4 months...they sucked me in with the first 3 digits of my cell phone number. I hope they appreciated the string of profanity I directed at them ;D

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA... CID is a joke.
My favorite is when the displayed CID comes with my name & phone number.
Get rid of CID and instead use the billing ID that cannot be faked (or phone co loses money, so you know they will protect that one).
Next time I get a telemarketer, will play them some good ol' Firedrake (http://www.satdirectory.com/firedrake.html).
