Title: Numbers Station/SSTV 2332-2340z 6925 USB
Post by: Rafman on October 09, 2012, 2340 UTC
6925 USB
3 different groups of numbers [maybe more] starting at 2330z
Male/female including Spanish & German?
Then an SSTV frame was sent 2338-2340z

Anyone grab it?

I wasn't in a position to record or decode...

SIO 323/SSTV 434

It was right in the noise here.  I wasn't even sure if it was SSTV following, but it was too broken up to decode.

Nothing here either, alas.  The entire HF band's been shot to blazes tonight.

Recorder catch:

6925 USB SIO 232-332

Fair signal with some fading - sounded like a few Conet Project recordings followed by an SSTV image of Maxwell Smart.

Sounded like a Slavic language to me at 2325z, ended with 000 000 at 2329z, so perhaps the Russian Man?

Another numbers stn at 2329z, with a lot of QRM/distortion, possibly in the original recording?

Spanish Man at 2331z.

And our good friend V2, the Cuban Atencion station, at 2334z.

Scottie1 SSTV, with a glitch in the actual transmission:

With some editing, and the magical ability of MultiMode OSX http://www.blackcatsystems.com/software/cw-rtty-sstv-fax-psk31-packet-decoding-software.html (http://www.blackcatsystems.com/software/cw-rtty-sstv-fax-psk31-packet-decoding-software.html) to adjust the timing of SSTV images even after they are received, we have the corrected image:
