Radio OZ-Viola? They usually have this jazz format
-
Numerous IDs confirmed it is OZ-Viola
-
Is OZ-Viola considered to be pirate? I thought it had some sort of authorization to transmit.
-
Yes, this should actually be re-classified over to SW Broadcasts

1. Recent news about World Music Radio are that the Danish authorities have withdrawn the licenses for broadcasting outside of the international broadcasting bands
2. My advice is that the logs of hobby stations (even with a license) are better placed in this forum (where they get readers and replies) than in the Shortwave broadcasting forum (where they get almost no reader and almost never a reply).
3. Many hobby stations are former pirate stations, and even a couple are usually on both sides.

Pirate or not, I know not.
A tad unusual for the station to be on the air on a weekday as opposed to on a weekend.
It could be that the stationmaster has recently obtained local permission to change his antenna to a purpose-built asymmetric half-wave dipole, and is now testing it.
There is a diagram thereof on his website; its link is below.

OZ-Viola is licensed by the Danish authorities. On Facebook this week he said he will keep broadcasting until his licence is due for renewal in a few months time.

Thanks for the update, ukdxer.
Presumably, he hasn't got a hope in hell of being allowed to renew his licence once his current one expires. :(
Bad news indeed, but the situation there is what it is. We can do nothing to alter it. :(
