Good morning to everybody. Here in Northern-France, I picked up this beacon at 20.30 U.T.C. in U.S.B. on the frequency 6218 KHz. This indoor reception gave to me a signal strength of less 1/12 LED with a SINPO of 25422. I also heard russian patriotic songs in a loop. Good D.X. B.L.

- What is interesting is the fact that the pip signal, sometimes transmitted on another already known channel, is perfectly synchronized in time. I think this indicates that it is transmitting from the same location!

Good thing it's a catchy song if they're playing it over and over, decent into UK SDR 0400 UTC 20 APR 2024

- yes, this song is "catchy"! I was wondering why he doesn't sing "...Russia from the Rhine to Jenisei."
The context is explained by the album cover, where there is an old map of Tsarist Russia from the Urals to Jenisei. The song was created to commemorate the conquest of large areas of Asia. Now it is cunningly strengthening the national bond of the poor nations of Asia subordinated to them.
The incentive to join the Russian army is to pay the soldier USD 5,000, which "supplies" his family for the rest of his life.

1915 S9+50 wow! did they increase the transmitting power, is the propagation so good?
Today they returned to broadcasting the song "Ot Volgi do Jeniseja".
The other channels transmit the pips or the sound of a "tennis racket hitting it". Signal level as usual.
