1853 BIG wide signal on the Westminster MD kiwi SDR on 6003. :D

Fair reception
1757z Hearing music but not clear enough to ID
1800z Been a series of R&B/Disco tunes which I can't ID - much better reception now, excellent quality
1808z "Native New Yorker" (like myself ;D) Odyssey
1812 Another song but reception has degraded
Hey Mix - Maybe Dazz by Brick?
Thanks for the end of year broadcast!
-
1806z Good signal in New Hampshire, S8. Heterodyne from SW broadcaster above, but cutting down to 2.7 filter gets rid of it.

1837z James Brown - Papa's Got A Brand New Bag (extended version, nice)

Mix Radio International 6003 USB S6-S8 in NY
1938: The O’Jays “Family Reunion”
1940: The Delfonics “Break Your Promise”
1947: Chic “Everybody Dance”
1948: Mix Radio International I.D. over the song
-
:o Dipping just above noise on Telegraph pole 001. But most pretty good signal to noise, nothing on S meter.
1948Z " We bring best sounds at ???"
Actual signal not too strong, but modulation is hot, so can decrease RF gain and get rid of some noise.
-
S8 to S9+10dB here in NY. nice as always!
QSY'd to 5995u. Wouldnt AM fit in better in a BC band?
Again QSY, to 4865. Lots of QSB here, 6MHz was a much better band, but still S8-S9
-
2026 Don't Wanna Be Lonely on 6961 with a strange modulation pattern.

-
"Shake shake shake, shake shake shake, shake your booty!" @ 2105, just bouncing the smeter off the at rest peg.
-
Good signal in to Nashville Tennessee. Nice wide audio not much suppression on Lower Side Band. Good clean audio. Sounds like station IDs are at full modulation and music is under full modulation
-

2132 UTC - Tell Me Something Good / Rufus and Chaka Khan
2138 UTC - Signal faded out.

Currently in a cycle of hard rock.
S5, although just audible here
Moved down to 4065 and have been listening to soul music since 2256.
Still S5, although quite audible.
-

2232 lost
-
2222 - Sun just set here and Mix is barely above the noise.
2333 - SIO 444 (maybe better).
-
4863 a typo? I see no mention of 4063, but that's where I have Mix right now at 2240 UTC, S7 into West Michigan, typical wideband USB signal, sounds nice. Michael Jackson tune right now.
-
They were on 4863U earlier. I also have them now on 4063 USB just above the noise floor at 2258 UTC with "Sweet Sensation"-Stephanie Mills (per Shazam)
2306 UTC Signal up just a bit with "Forever Mine"-O'Jays
2309 UTC "Papillon (Hot Butterfly)"-Chaka Khan
-

S7 into AL @ 23:57. Sounding good! Thanks for the show
-
S6 signal into SE WI. It would be better if it wasn't for this weird QRM that covers the 80 meter band and beyond.
-
0000 Not moving S meter at all but decent copy, Motown type tune playing.
-
S1 to s5 @0010Z 01JAN19 with motown funkjam as well as very weak cochannel fsk.

Nice signal into SE Florida with some QSB.
Tnx for the tip on bandwidth, I opened up the TS-480 to 5 KC hi cut and quite an improvement.

Another logging from Northern BC, 1000 km NW of Vancouver on Haida Gwaii. This is my big DX cottage with multiple Beverage/BoGs, ALA 100, FLG 100 corner fed loops, etc on the ocean facing Alaska (Ketchikan is 70 km due north from my oceanside cottage). Anyway, thanks to everyone for helping ID this one. No internet access up there (yet), so had to wait until I'm home again in Victoria, BC. Fairly good reception.
