   Thanks ThaDood for the very valuable material for repetition and your own experiments.
It gives you to think, instead of placing a typical magnetic loop in the garden, you can see a better SULA directional antenna. The other two parts of the publication are now available.
 When I am old enough that I no longer climb a tree, this antenna will be my salvation. ;D

Sounds promising. I've been pondering several inexpensive readymade and homebrew amplified loops.

i think LNA instead of balun should work much better. Or aplifier like Chavdar Levkov amp.
