UNID 8991.9 kHz AM 04:00 03 SEP 2022

04:00 UTC - Strong S7 UNID unmodulated AM carrier observed on 8991.9 kHz AM. Verified via the HFU's 120 ft T2FD KiwiSDR receiver and the same signal was present at a +/- S8 level.

Also verified via the University of Twente Wide-band WebSDR, signal is present at an approx S6 level. The signal is predominant in the North East and Central Europe regions.

TDoA was unsuccessful with results in the Barents Sea, Tazovsky District, Russia and the Norwegian Sea.

Thus far, no sign of the UNID today.

This close to 8992 it might be one or more of these guys setting up for the big event.
