Look for Ball Smacker Radio most Friday nights at 9-10:30 PM EDT (0100 UTC) on 6960KHz AM. Reception report e-mails that identify our special theme for the broadcast will receive a special eQSL. On-line stream of broadcast at http://BallSmacker.net

Ballsmacker, you have been very annoying recently. You have internationally QRMed multiple stations and acted like you own 6960 kHz. I propose that nobody log Ballsmacker this week as a protest to his behaviour. Maybe then he will stop QRMing other stations. He has a VFO, moving a few kHz is not the end of the world.

Good idea Shortwave_listener.

"BallSmacker" has been using 6960 kHz since 2020. The programs are announced days in advance. So day, time and frequency are known.
Nevertheless, lately there have always been stations that broadcast there.
Who is disturbing whom?

We had an accident with Wolverine a couple of Saturdays ago which we heartily apologized for. Our AM setup is rockbound at 6960 unless we hook up a programmer (Stretchy).
When we are on LSB/USB we do have the ability to change, which we were about to do when we hit Wolverine but then he moved just as we were about to change.
We are excited to try our spanking new vertical this week and see how things go. With WSPR tests we've been heard in Antarctica and as far north as Eureka, Nunavut, Canada at 200 mW.

You still didn’t apologize for jamming WANK. If someone else is on your frequency that you claim you are rockbound then you should wait until they are done.

Our AM setup is rockbound at 6960 unless we hook up a programmer (Stretchy).
Stretchy's programmer can be a little intimidating, I suppose, though I'm sure that he doesn't think that it is. I think that many or most of his customers haven't tried to change frequency.
If you are having trouble or are not touching it out of fear (and I don't fault you for either of these) and want some help, send me a DM and I might be able to help you. I don't know if he's revised his programmer, his header (the connector), or instructions since 2020 though. I know how to use what I have; I can change frequency at will and I even reverse-engineered his hex files to get close to the intended frequency, though still with a small amount of residual drift (that has always been there and I'm not going to try to fix).
His directions that I saw in 2020 are correct but there are probably a few items that need more detail, e.g., a fuller, more detailed explanation of how to connect the programmer to the transmitter. If anybody cares, I can publish more detailed directions than he has provided.
