We might try an experiment at 9:30 EDT and switch antennas to the G5RV. Good for Northeast US, worse everywhere else. We'll go silent for about 5 seconds during the switch. It will be fun to compare. We'll switch back to the Vertical at 10:00 PM EDT.

I'm guessing the antenna just got switched, because the signal significantly improved.
-
0137 UTC kicking it S9 +20 Super Audio. Blossom in the water..
-
20 over here in Alabama. Best I've ever heard this station
-
We switched to the G5RV at exactly 9:30PM EDT (marked by 5 seconds of silence). We will switch back to the new vertical at exactly 10:00PM EDT (marked by 5 seconds of silence).
-
I've tried 3 of Chris S.'s Kiwi's one with 500 ft. beverage pointed N.E. of Westminster, MD. I can hear audio on all 3, but it can't get over a
wide motorboating noise.
-
We switched back to the vertical at exactly 10:00PM EDT (marked by 5 seconds of silence).
-
Muddy Waters "Mannish Boy" big signal on a W.PA. Kiwi w/ what the owner calls "a very big loop."
That song was one of the first diss tracks, except for a few words, it's exactly the same as Bo Diddley's "I'm A Man" recorded the year before. It's Water's telling the 22 year old Bo to sit down and shut up. A lot of Hoodoo references and sexual innuendo in both songs.
I'll go with "water" for the theme of tonight's show.
-
Great show thanks for the broadcast tonight.
