The Lincolnshire Poacher normally showed up on 6957.5 and played the old sea shanty "Barnacle Bill The Sailor" on recorder, or whatever the English version of the song is called. Both used a synth version of a YL's voice for the numbers, but the real Poacher had a powerhouse
signal. The only station I ever heard shut it down was Radio Metallica Worldwide and that was only once just after 9/11/01. Even the Doc and Senor El Nino weren't crazy enough to fool around with large State Intelligence Agencies more than once.
