The Eurovision Song Contest gives me seizures. Give me open mic night at a redneck beer joint with lot's of chicken wire around the stage and barrels of empties. It stops electronica dead in it's tracks. ;)
IMH, they get double-zero straight from Morocco in the Canary Islands. No tobacco laced weed or soap bar need apply, it won't get in the game. Ask ol' Stretchy, he knows.
I wonder if they know the folks at Indy Radio? As the buzzard flies, it's not that far. I tried to get an FM'er in the Canaries to give HF a try in the aughts, but I think he was more interested in twenty-something blonde N. European girls on vacation than screwing around w/ HF. If I'd have been his age, I'd have been interested in the same thing.
Thanks for the SDR info. I'll give it a try for that trippy West African music.
