Title: FCC HFDF Center in Columbia, MD
Post by: DimBulb on March 29, 2013, 2358 UTC
After seeing an HFU reference to the FCC's HFDF (high-frequency direction finding) center in Columbia, MD I did some surfing and came up with lots of interesting hits, here's a couple:

   - Bid request for new software (08/09/10):

     https://www.fbo.gov/utils/view?id=ada84d91af576c661b4941fecd01abf5

   - Bid request for a new system to link receiving sites to the main site - includes a site list (08/30/11):

     http://transition.fcc.gov/omd/contracts/pre-award/RFQ11000024.pdf

There was also a bid request for a new building to replace the trailers that were being used to house the HFDF center.

Government Boondoggle.

All FCC Agents should be fired,
and forced to find honest work.
