Hearing some pgm'ing in the weeds but barely audible.  Possibly Renegade radio but not enough to get a positive ID. Currently recording bc on Excalibur for later review. The Who "Won't Get Fooled Again" @ 0114; Styx "Renegade" @0130; ID finally hrd @0134.

0753Z, Yeah vhavrilko, It's Renegade Radio. He is pretty loud in W. Texas. About an S8 with just a little bit of static in there. Other than that, very good.

Roger that...I can hear them a little better now with the Who "Won't Get Fooled Again" @0114.  I cannot always hear the same broadcasts with equal quality as those closer the eastern US.

Agreed. That's why its so fun. You get to hear stations that you normally shouldn't be able to hear and vice versa. Propagation is a unique and wonderful thing. You should get into amateur radio. I have to go for now, the wife keeps calling for me. Have fun. 73's.

Once I complete my doctorate in about 2 1/2 years, I was planning on pursuing that.  I do not want to get the no-code license though because I prefer HF.

There is no code requirement any more but it is a good idea to pursue learning because some of the older hams like to gripe about no coders.  There are only 3 types of license anymore, Technician, General, and Extra. Good luck on your doctorate. That's very cool. 73's.

Good to see you here Vince.  There aren't any more older ACE bulletins from the past to be uploaded to archive.org, are there?  You are so good to us sticking those oldies out there.
