I have QIW up and running for a bit (until local dark), trying to capitalize on good propigation of "RF" a few minutes ago.

Hello Alex,
What frequency should we be tuning to in order to listen for QIW? Also, can you define "this afternoon". HFU listeners are all over the world spanning multiple time-zones.
Thank you.

Sigint makes a good point, Alex. It might also help if you would share a general operating schedule with lwca.net so they can keep their listings updated.

A quick search for QIW came up with this information.
Just a brief note 22 meter beacon QIW will remain on air using my 20 meter dipole when not in use for amateur radio activities. The location is near Crown Point, Indiana. Happy hunting! Frequency is approx 13.56275 mhz using 5 WPM CW.

Sorry for the delayed response. The frequency is approx 13.56275 mhz. I have the beacon up most Saturday and Sunday's UTC-1700-2100 when not operating on the ham bands. Grid is DN61.

As info, I QIW is currently on the air for a few hours to take advantage of the good 22m propagation. I'm hearing 3-4 22m CW beacons right now as well.
