Exact frequency is 15475.97 kHz. S5 with the LU4AA KiwiSDR in Argentina. This is a special broadcast: https://swling.com/blog/tag/lra36-radio-nacional-arcangel-san-gabriel/

1610 UTC-Talk in Spanish
1658 UTC-Audio off but the poorly suppressed carrier is still on
1835 UTC-Checking now I see LRA36 is still going with pop music, probably filling the time before the repeat of the program from earlier
1903 UTC-Still playing pop music, no sign of a repeat of the program from 1500 UTC
1915 UTC-Sounds like program is being repeated by now
1942 UTC-OFF mid song

This will be repeated at 1900 UTC today.

Likewise, I was on an Argentine DX club at 1500 utc.  Reception was graciously rated as fair, at 1510 utc there was CW followed by an OM in Spanish with ID.  Since reception was so shaky, I did errands.

Al Fansome used to wait breathlessly for this one to turn up. I hope he heard it in the Great Beyond.

Al was a good friend, but sometimes I think he spent too much time in that warm California sun? The once a year BBC/Radio St. Helena broadcast was a big one for Al, too. It's long gone.
