11m DX was already rolling in early this morning. The band is hopping now.  Airspy HF+ Discovery and 31' vertical.

26.805 FM - a speech in German - Adolf Hitler - with a German-accented narrator in English. This has been on for several hours. Signal S9 + 20dB, with fading.

Adolph broadcasting from a marmot burrow in the Bavarian Alps would be my guess. It is Groundhog Day and the holiday did originate in Germany. They likely thaw him out once a year to harangue the other rodents.

I guess I missed it. The band was dead by the time I got home. As far as DX goes, only hearing one CW station out of Chile. 12 is dead also.
