Title: Daily waterfalls of pirate activity in the 6800 - 7000 kHz 43 meter band
Post by: ChrisSmolinski on February 16, 2023, 2202 UTC
This is something I have been working on for some time... daily waterfalls of the entire 43 meter band, showing all activity, with annotations (done manually by me) for interesting (pirate, utility, etc.) transmissions.

I plan on generating and annotating an image daily, they will be available here:  https://radiohobbyist.org/waterfalls/ (https://radiohobbyist.org/waterfalls/)

Here's the first one, activity from roughly 1200z 15 - 16 February 2023, yesterday:

The URL of the image is here:

I've uploaded the latest waterfall, covering roughly 1100 UTC 16-17 Feb 2023.

Eventually I'll try to make the page more user friendly.

After a break due to other obligations, I went back to annotate waterfalls between Christmas and last night.

Unfortunately, the HFU loggings threads during this time period are a disaster, with lots of duplicate threads for the same station, incorrect information, etc. I started to clean things up, but threw up my hands in the end. So they're a mess, and many of the waterfalls have incomplete or no annotations.

Sorry.

I'm not sure if these have been useful to anyone else anyway?

I have referred to it several times, for what that is worth.
