0203 UTC S9 +15+ Unreal!...I'm good with a gathering anywhere in the NE or Midwest. Ill cover all the beer and beef for 4 days! I can bring pork too.. Not to upset Porkchop or Trotters with the selections !
0240 UTC Still S9 +10-15
-
0124 not much of a signal at the moment.
0145 back from dinner and signal is much better, SIO 333
-
0115 Hello Redhat. I am transmitting on 12200 and listening to you on the wonderful frequency selective Collins R-390A in SAM mode on a different antenna. At some point when I go off the air I will see about receiving you on the modified stereo Sony ICF-2010.
0302 Nice 20dB signal. Listening on the great low distortion SONY ICF-2010 stereo synchronous detector in super wide mode. Feeding the computer line in. Much better than the Software SoDiR a computer app that has audio distortion.
-
0123 very low in noise. :(
-
0139: Signal has been getting steadily stronger and the noise a tad lower. Now not a bad signal. Thanks for the broadcast and music.
-
0140 Hi RH. Mostly strong signal with a few noisy fades. Your signal on 4185 usually gets stronger with time, so hopefully that will be true this evening. In any event, I'll be enjoying the show. Thanks for all the work you do to make this happen.
-
Great signal and great music in my backyard, thanks for the show!
-
Sounding great here.
-
0207 Punk/Pop tune playing. Red Hat on the mic. SIO:222
-
Listening via the Northern Utah SDR, which has a great signal with minimal noise and fading. On my own radio here north of Seattle, the signal's coming in fair as of 0240 UTC ...
0209 UTC: Redhat back on the mic after playing an Antiflag song. Reviewing previously played songs, mentioning monster trucks, and confused by the two HFU threads on X-FM (I'm confused, too).
0216 UTC: Canned ID into Killing Floor's "Acid Bean," as requested by Andrew Yoder.
0219 UTC: Canned ID then "The Trees" by Rush.
0224 UTC: Canned ID into "Vial" by Vinyl Theatre, followed by "Lessons in Love (All Day, All Night)" by Neon Trees feat. Kaskade.
0231 UTC: Redhat back on the mic, "somewhere under the stars," talking about a loose screw on his mic, then reviewing previously played songs, checking in on HFU postings again.
0236 UTC: "Radio" by Rammstein by request. (It's a great song!)
0241 UTC: "A Girl Like You" by The Smithereens (a very underappreciated band from my college days).
0246 UTC: Canned ID and then "Beguiled" by The Smashing Pumpkins.
0250 UTC: Redhat back on the mic talking about how he discovered that newish Smashing Pumpkins song via YouTube, checking in on the HFU board again, and reviewing recently played songs.
0255 UTC: "Tom Sawyer" by Rush, as requested by William Hassig, then an ID into "Cracker Island" by Gorillaz.
0303 UTC: Redhat on the mic with the email address, then "Trust" by Megadeth.
0308 UTC: Canned ID into "Kiss and Tell" by Bryan Ferry.
0313 UTC: Redhat on mic reviewing recently played songs, talking about his nighttime weather, checking in on HFU postings.
0317 UTC: "Voices" by Russ Ballard.
0323 UTC: Canned ID into "Plastic" by New Order (good tune!).
0330 UTC: Canned ID into "Nothing Left to Lose," the new song from Everything But the Girl.
0334 UTC: Redhat back on mic, reviewing the previously played songs, checking in on the HFU posts, talking about changes with pirate radio and complaints about them playing too much music: "This, ladies and gentlemen, is my vacation."
0342 UTC: Canned ID into "Seen it Coming" by Bob Moses.
0346 UTC: Canned ID into "On My Knees" by Rufus du Sol.
0350 UTC: Canned ID into ... well, something technical happened. Redhat got onto the mic and introduced "Just Wanted to Know" by Royksopp feat. Astrid S.
0355 UTC: Redhat on mic, reviewing the previously played songs and giving a sign-off monologue about propagation deteriorating and hoping folks enjoyed the music. He also thanked the HFU posters and emailers.
0359 UTC: "Perpetual" by VNV Nation to end the broadcast.

0407 UTC OFF
Thanks for the entertainment this evening redhat! Reception was tough at times, but other times I had 100% copy!
-
Still on with a nice fat signal on an SDR in Central Florida. 444. If wasn't for some stray static from a wideband ute below him this would be a 555.
-
For some reason, I'm not having much luck in getting good reception. This is a first for X-FM...unfortunately. Maybe better luck next time. From what I did hear it was a great show.
