Title: Any Coast Guard HF Rescue Ops?
Post by: wo1n@arrl.net on June 21, 2023, 1531 UTC

With regard to the lost submersible:

Other than the occasional Maritime WX I'm not hearing anything at my location in Massachusetts on the old CG frequencies: 2670 KHz, 5696 KHz, 8983 KHz 8993 KHz

Has everything moved to Sat Coms? Any better frequencies?

Hi Ken,

I have been monitoring as well with no great success on HF. My suspicion is that comms may be centred on the use of the VHF and UHF bands since the efforts are fairly localized and also involve commercial assets.

There is a current list of frequencies at The RadioReference Wiki.
United States Coast Guard

Unfortunately, time is now running very short for the crew and passengers of the Titan.

Thank you for the reply.

An unfortunate end for all...
