Title: UNID 6870 AM 0546 UTC 06 JUL 2023
Post by: MDK2 on July 06, 2023, 0547 UTC
0546 Music, SIO 333 in Colorado.
0559 still on, no ID as of yet. Music has all been techno/instrumental. Carrier is centered approx. 6869.91 kHz.
0613 now playing bluegrass music
0617 now hip hop (for lack of a better descriptor) with OM vocalist that appears to be in a language other than English, couldn't begin to guess what it might be. Actually it is English, am able to make out some words, but vocalist has strong accent.

SDR recording catch

0504 Carrier on for a minute or two, then off
0507 Back on with music, fair signal but a lot of static
0542 Still going, still about the same signal level. Sounds like someone talking?

There's a genre called "Country Rap". I wonder if that's what you were hearing?

If I were to guess what the accent was, I'd say African or possibly Afro-Caribbean, so probably not that. :)

It wasn’t a mix in the same songs that I heard. They played rap, electronic music, and country all separately. Just an odd combination in the same broadcast I thought.
