Does not spell out what broadcasts are cut, nor is their website updated for the reductions.

It does not appear as any broadasts are cut, only a temporary suspension of 2 out of 5 transmitters.
"As of August 1, our programmes are aired via one transmitter ..."
"The RRI programmes ... may be received on only one frequency instead of 2, as of August 1, 2023."

I'm thinking there are times they might be off a once receivable transmission of English service (not aimed at North America) but retain a frequency that might only be heard in Western Europe.
-
I did not hear them on 9740 kHz yesterday at 2030z as usual. They were on 13650 at that time.

Yeah....I had no reception of the Romanian service in the 1300 UTC hour on 15340 AM today and that had always been a very strong signal, frequently a music program. :(

... further to reception monitoring and to your feedback on reception quality will be announced in our broadcasts, on our web page and on Facebook.
I would recommend that as many people post their observations directly to RRI so that management is aware of how valuable their service is to North America.

Try 11740 khz around 0400 UTC. They come in well at that time, at least here in the NW US, on most nights. Also a music program. It's beamed at Southern Europe, presumably for Romanian expats.

Thanks but I usually arise at 0915 UTC, so at 0400 UTC I'm on about wink 20 of 40. ;)
