Just signed on, a lot of fading, some peaks to S6 and dips to about S0. S4 on average.
1225 Boom Box Radio ID, back into more music.
Off at 1244z.

I checked the real time FoF2 map: http://www.spacew.com/www/fof2.gif
And even at 1325z, it was only 5.5 MHz. So it's a little early for NVIS on 43 meters.
I ran some rough calculations, and it looks like the minimum distance for propagation is about 300 miles, and even that is marginal.
