Title: WMMR/Mysterious Mystic Radio 6925.6 AM 4:05z 7-8-13
Post by: Rockpicker on July 08, 2013, 0456 UTC
4:05 4:14 z tuned into very old time music - 20's - 30's ? , audio suggest old 78's or older cylinder recordings.
Signal S6 - S8 good audio levels for music, relatively good listening considering the fades and storm static.
4:14 - 4:17 z Male talking, possible ID? -low audio levels? - could not make out a word he said.
4:17 - 4:43 z Same genre music
4:43  4:44 z Op talking , same as before, some talk over music, ID? Off at 4:44z

I possibly have logged this station before but do not have my older logs, QLS's or recordings  anymore?

I had this from 0313z sign on, on the SDR recording, with an extremely faint signal. Mostly just a carrier. Some traces of audio.  Off at 0444z, so I assume this is the same station.

That station would have been Mysterious Mystic Radio, started up at  ca. local sunset e.g. 0314 or so and we threw the Big Switch at 0445 (or so).   Only ran 30 or 40 watts (if that), condx here sounded completely dismal & dead so we figured "what the heck!"  Surprised that Chris S.'s S-Meter even budged!

Aha!  This showed up as a weak signal in my overnight strength history (recording 6925.0USB), and also as weak audio in the recording.  Audio had a strong het, and I really could not get anything out of it.
