RTN with S = 5 or 6 and hi-fi audio despite storm static etc. with 1980's music, canned "CoolAM " ID's etc. As usual here this summer, signal strength gradually getting better as the night progresses, no fades per se...just that darned storm noise! Listening now on the SP-600 but will shortly switch to the R-390A and the 8 kc. high fidelity filter and run the line output into the old stereo amp etc. As usual, thanks for the program, in another half hour or so you oughta be closing in on S = 9 if previous summer nights are any indication, here in the flatlands of the west coast of the USA.
Osborne White, WMMR etc.
PS: Mrs. O. W. sez to send her greetings and to mention that she is enjoying the program immensely! She sorta grew up in the 1980's, whereas I never grew up!
EDITTED: Sounds like they threw the big switch in the middle of a song at 0730 GMT! Oh well, no R-390A tonight after all! TNX RTN for the program!

SDR recording catch. 0342z sign on with a very weak signal, just above the noise floor. Slowly improved over time.
Switched to 6925 at 0727z.
ID and off at 0810z.

Recorder Catch on 6925USB
Essentially fade free S8 reception of RTN here 0727-0810z. Off-tuned a hair, but great audio otherwise, and the best reception of RTN here in months.
Thanks RTN!
