First time I've ever caught them this late in the morning, usually gone shortly after sunrise and not back until just before sunset.

1630 ut WSM ID into Paint me a Birmingham-Tracy Lawrence.

This time of year the sun is as low in the sky and rises as late as it gets.
Takes a while for it to fire up the D layer.
Nice catch.
